Chloe Cole, a detransitioner, and Jamie Reed, a former pediatric gender clinic case manager, spoke at a rally in Arnold, Missouri, urging voters to pass Amendment 3, which would permanently ban sex-change procedures for minors and reinstate abortion restrictions in the state constitution. The amendment aims to prevent minors from receiving puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries without parental consent and to reverse the 2024 voter-approved amendment that granted reproductive health care rights including abortion through fetal viability.

More than 1,100 messengers at the Missouri Baptist annual convention voted unanimously to endorse Amendment 3, a ballot measure restricting abortion and banning sex-change procedures for minors in Missouri. Former Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey urged support for the amendment, which aims to reverse a 2024 pro-abortion amendment and permanently codify protections for unborn children and minors in the state constitution.
